Learning Child Theming with Twenty Twelve

If you’ve been following along with Twenty Ten, Twenty Eleven and this year Twenty Twelve, you’ll have noticed that major improvements have been made with themes released by the Theme Team at Automattic. Twenty Ten featured amazing improvements compared to Kubrick, Twenty Eleven introduced a responsive design and Twenty Twelve brought simplicity and cleanliness.

The WordPress repository now accepts child themes to be submitted, so I thought I would play around with Twenty Twelve and submit one. You can go and grab my child theme here. Lacking inspiration, I just translated Twenty Twelve into French, which is Deux Milles Douze.
